This weekend we celebrate Christ the King. This feast day honors Jesus Christ as lord over all creation. Pope Pius XI established this feast day in 1925. Pope Paul VI had the feast day moved to the last Sunday of the liturgical year. We end Year A of our liturgical calendar.
Every Sacred Sunday is a wonderful company based here in Texas. These ladies are very artistic and for a number of years have been publishing a Mass Journal, Every Sacred Sunday. We have a few copies of this wonderful journal in the gift shop. The journal begins with the First Sunday of Advent and goes to the celebration of Christ the King 2021.
