Feast Day of St Stephen

Today is the 2nd Day of Christmas.  We celebrate St. Stephen, first martyr of the church.  He was one of Jesus Apostles and was a deacon in the early church.  He helped gather and distribute food for the poor and caring for their neesds.  

...Jesus, thank you for the beautiful witness of St. Stephen, who not only gave his life physically for you but also spiritually through his unwavering service to the poor. Amen.......  prayer from Celebrating the twelve days of Christmas with the Saints by, Meyer Market-Saints of all ages.
